Great! Can't wait to read you coverage for each of these events. XD I've been a reader for more than a year now, but before that I've been a lurker for about 6months. heheheh! ^^ Your japan and event coverage posts are what I like best here. Keep it up, you're doing a great job! (^_^)/
Thanks Bele ^^ BTW, would you prefer more photos or video footage?
Looking forward to seeing some big-arse robots! Ive been a reader for years. I cant remember how many, but it must be at least 3 or 4 years ago. *Fond memories of those cool pixel-art avatars* I remember when you would post years ago, and about 4 people tops would reply. Now its like 40! Heres to another successful year *raises beer*
That link to last years chara hobby coverage isnt working for me. Just thought id let you know.
Gah - sorry - comiket, not chara hobby. Sorry for the spammage...
Hey Andy, Thanks for the headsup - just fixed it ^^;
Hmmm...I was a lurker for around three months I believe before I decided to sign up and comment on your great site. I can't wait to see your coverage on comiket, I really want to go to one. If I do teach English in Japan then thats where most of my money will go to lol, forget food and clothing ^-^.
I lurked one day and signed in the next....and since then I visit these pages every single day ....even several times a day. Keep going.....^-^
Mmm, only been here for 2 months :3 Then again, when its back to school... But still I'll be here sometimes during boarding school with skiddy pants~ "Chara Hobby is probably the biggest toy (event). Theres even going to be an eleven meter tall RX78 in the hall" lol, the reason why it's the biggest. Btw danny, how did you get that long screenie of your events page?
Would love to see pictures & stuff about Comike! Want to go there myself one day as well ;p But the winter edition is kinda difficult as it's really almost the last 2 days of December. I don't really remember since when I started reading your blog. It must be at least since January/February (certainly between my 2 trips to Japan,Nov&May). I think I quite quickly started posting comments though :) Haven't lurked that much ;p It's always great you have so many (good) pictures (& sometimes video). Hope to meet you someday when I'm in Tokyo again.
Would love to go to Comiket if I got the chance I guess I have been reading dannychoo.com for 1-2 yrs? Will you be bringing Mirai chan along? Will love to see the photos that you have taken thanks for your hardwork ^^ よしむ has some nice cosplay pics on his
Hope they showcase the completed version of the master grade destiny there.
been coming here for about 3 years, as long as I been going to my University.
I've been coming here everyday to see what has been goin' on in the land of the rising sun two years ago... maybe more. :O Can't wait for the coverage CharaHobby and Comiket. ;) BTW, I love maid Mirai-chan! I hate how you have an awesome mascot. I envy it. T.T You think your sensei/artist can give me a few pointers on how to draw? I'm taking art classes here in college. Please? :D
Go forth and cover the events, danny XD. Good luck and hope for a fine coverage from you.
I have a request Danny. More Wallpapers of key figurines from events. You're the only site I know that can give me good 1680 x 1050 wallpapers. ^_^ PS: Aren't Tengas supposed to be disposable?
Oh my...new Gundam coverage!, that's what I like to here.=) Can't wait to see your pics and read about the experience at the event. I'm crossing my fingers for some surprise news about a new PG!! About your poll question: I lurked for about two months(sorry) then I signed up in January. Besides the Gundam posts the living in Japan posts are also one of my favs.
Been here for almost a month I think, after I got my figure interest from buying some gundam here in Tokyo. Your detail event coverage help me to prepare for all this monster event in Japan hehe. The crowds in japan never failed to amaze me. I will be going to my first Chara Hobby tomorrow :)
i've been a reader for almost 3-4 years now ever since my college days and your blog Danny just keeps better and better ^^ love your event coverages and anything and everything about japan and its crazy people are what i always look forward to ^^ FUK YEAH!!! your event coverage page is now one of my fave sections and i could now virtually visit otaku events in japan w/o leaving my room and maybe get some inspiration and ideas from those events ^^
btw i've noticed a new Mirai image at the header... i love her in the maid uniform *heart* will that image available at the wallpaper tool? :3
i use to visit this site like 6 - 8 months ago but only for read news or something like that. But i join like 2 months ago and i like it. I want to read the work of Azamiyu sensei, will she want non japansse fans?
Yeah Comiket! Looking forward the coverage ^^; But ... tenga is for only one usage isn't it ? xD Sasaki Tamaru works looks great! Hope we'll see some more here. I've been ritually reading dannychoo.com for a little bit more than one year, at the same time I've started buying anime character figures :)
I certainly prefer photos more over videos. But of course it'd be nice to see a video once in a while. ^^ Most of the time I watch videos just once and forget about it afterwards. Photos on the otherhand, are the exact opposite. :D So yeah, definitely photos.
Been a reader for two months+ though, but i think I stumble into your website when I was still a bit new to this but didn't really much care. One question though, does the event Comiket only sells eroge? Oh and I have the ratio of photos to video, 5:3.
have been a reader for actually a year, but had only since registered for an accountlast month lol.. anyway, i would like to see more photo and of course, with minor description accompanied~
I'm loving the maid Mirai picture.
I've been on your site for almost 3/4s of a year now. The entry that got me on here was the Stormtrooper at the Wii launch that got pretty high onto Digg.com. I don't think I've had my account that long though, maybe a few months. Your blog is actually the only blog I don't read through a RSS feed and actually come onto the site almost daily to see any updates.
