I only know pic no 6 is Xecty from Shining Wind. That shunya's figure looks great, i like the armor and bow design, very nice
The character from Dead or Alive is Lei-Fang. Wow, the official Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu drink! Wonder what taste it has and if it is some energy drink or not. Great pictures as always!
I love the prototype, unpainted models. You can appreciate the sculpting and detail much more. Plus, as a 3d artist, i find them very inspirational and great reference for creases and detailing.

Most of those "name the figures" are from Shining Wind. I can't wait for my Kureha. ;) And if i'm not mistaken the 1s figure is of a trap. XD

love that figure of seena(?) from shining wind. Most shining wind figures looks good. And oh yeah, i want that lei fang figure. She's my fave among the DOA chars. ^^
there's something about Kotobukiya figures that doesn't appeal to me even though their figures are beautifully crafted and pretty ^^;;; @Haruhi canned tea i've heard those were being sold at Asobit Game City in boxes ^^ i wamnted to buy one not only to try one but also for collection sake lolz XDDD
"Haruhi fans can now drink her." My god does that phrase sound so wrong. XD Actually, I never have collected a single figure (yet I call my self an Otaku) since I don't have the money for them yet. It makes me sad really seeing all these really good figures and I can't get any of them. :'(

I used to have a Kotobukiya Fig of Cypher from Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram. It was just AWFUL. The removable parts (with pegs) are a pain to attach / detach. It was so bad that the wrist peg actually got stuck inside the wrist! I couldn't change it's left hand anymore. No more Kotobukiya for me.
Q: Do you own any Kotobukiya figures? A: Why yes I do good sir. More than i care to count. ^_^;

Of all the DOA girls, I rarely see Lei-Fang in figure form. It looks pretty good from that pic. That new Shunya figure looks awesome, too. I agree with you on the upper pair of eyes. I dislike all the Shunya figures except for Sera and Mirei because they've got the nicest eyes. This one looks like it'll be another nice one for my collection.

Wow, Kotobukiya is gonna be taking a lot of money in the next couple of months or so with their SRW kits and their Shining Wind figures (really loving the Xecty and Seena figures). I'm also really interested in the Lei-Fang figure. She's my favorite DoA girl, so I hope they make it as nice, if not nicer, than all the other DoA figures that have come out so far.
