Next up is the mecha and non-female-figurine stuff. This was at the Good Smile section. Never seen Dragonar before but this looks cool.

Before I forget, Xenoblog and Roy have their coverage up.
This was so awesome - looked even better in the flesh.
Cool but not as poseable as the Revoltech stuff.
This was in the garage kit section.
The name of this item is Girbe-339 - also transforms into a flying object.
The design of the body is not that bad but the mustache puts me off ^^;
Nendoroid Tachikoma at the Good Smile booth.

Thanks for the plug Danny :)
The mecha in WF are really cool. Especially the new The Five Star Stories 1/100: The Harezu no Ninngyo.

I wish it was fully painted and assembled though :(. I just don't have that kind of space in my tiny bitsy apartment to do that even if I want to.

That Big O figure looks ace! All the mechs look nice, though the only one I want is the Gurren Lagann. What exactly is it if it's not Revoltech? :Crosses fingers for a Revoltech version:

So much I want to get! I've always wanted to get a model/figure of Big O and now I know which one!

The MG Turn A doesn't really do it for me, but the Destiny MG pics look promising, so there's hope!

The blue model that's crouching down(Five stories?) with that huge gun looks pretty cool as well...I need to stop coming here...I'm going to be broke by the end of this year.

That Dragonar looks pretty decent,

And is that a Dancougar nova and Ardaigun I see? I wonder if they combine into max god form...

But out of those, I think I was most interested in the alteisen and WirldWurger (prays that it's a 1/100 work in progress)

My pick is Genesic GaoGaiGar.

I'm a fan of that mecha after watching YushaO Final, and that figure on display must be the nth version already.

Any idea about its release date and price?

The robots in 10035.jpg have quite a whack design. From which series are they from?

Ken, Spider-Man may not be a mecha, but he went Super Sentai once ;)

Nice pics, Sir Danny. Er, a few questions if I may?

1. What kind of models are the Dragonar and Genetic Gaogaigar? Looked like they were more like toys with their accesories in the pics.

2. That's not the Revoltech Dix-Neuf is it?

Collector: R-1 Is right, those mecha look like they are from Muv-Luv

R-1: I said in a previous post that the genesic GaoGaiGar is most likely the non transformable one from Max Factory. I believe it was part of the Max Gohkin line

As for Dragonar, That one should be a soul of Chokujin.

Both of the above are/will be rather toy like, but GGG will not have much posability as it's really heavy. It gets it's own stand tho!

Soul of chokujin? Or chogokin? Yeah, I noticed the stands as well, as well as the mold lines, so I figured they might be toys.

Just to be sure, is Muv-Luv an H-game or not?

The Dragonar shld be an upcoming Chogokin from Bandai if I m not mistaken, somthing on my to buy list.

It looks alot better than in the anime and those old model kits which are rather "fat"

AAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhh... finally some mecha. Theres a couple of Guncrack (Gundam) models in there too. Half of these things I have no idea what series they are from though. It doesnt matter, just gives me more ideas for scratch-building. Huge sniper rifles with mechas have been a great idea ever since Evangelion. I just want Bandai to come out with more MG and PG.. I dont collect the HGUC.

Thanks danny, the photos are just great, just wishing I could have been here.
But a question from an anime newby, like D_Blade I would like to know from which anime are the two steel mechas we can see on the 10035;jpg, with life like metal painting, never heard of them, but they are just amazing !

Khasus: I'm not sure exactly which pic you are asking about but if it's the 2 metallic figures 2 pics down from Genesic GGG, then I believe those are repaints of the 1920's Mazinger Z reimaginings. The one on the left is one of the Dr Hell monster robots and the one on the right is boss borot.
