I need to leave in a bit for the Good Smile offices soon so leaving you with only the 10 min video of todays Wonder Festival 2007 [Summer].

Let me know if the titles at the end of the video are cut off for you - the video seems to get stuck in YouTube for the last 5 seconds.
Dont forget that you can expect more great Wonfes 2007 Summer coverage at the following sites. The rest of my photos will be uploaded starting from tomorrow. If you got some spare time in a few hours from now, do check out the live broadcast from the Good Smile offices - especially at 11.50 JST ^^

This years Wonfes 2007 Summer coverage is being brought to you in association with Akihabara News.
BTW, this is my first attempt at using iMovie 08 (keeps crashing all the time) which is why the editing is dodgy.

Heheh - i love that mini otaku stampede when they open the gates!

Some nice stuff, but nothing really blew my mind and made me add to my 'must buy' list. Kureha looks great, and i really liked those SD gurren lagann figures.

Yay! I saw vending machine red in the cosplay bit n__n

Looked like a mighty hot day outside. I bet it reeked of otaku sweat inside! Just as well you didnt go in armour.

Cant wait for the goodsmile/ MF news!

Oh god! I was in that queue for almost 30 min, crazy. Will blog about it tomorrow so tired now +_+.

Great stuff in there but most of the nice fully painted resin figure are gone within minutes/hours especially those that are limited to 200 unit (T_T)

Before using an extension (like m4v) fort the first time please check that your web server knows it. Mime text/plain does not exactly launch the QT plugin...

Finally back from Tokyo. Started queuing from around 5:50am but when I got to the Goodsmile corner, there seemed to be 1000 people in front of me! Was really great, picked up a couple bargains from the Hobbystock booth.

But the heat, oh that damned heat.... made that 4 hours of queuing the longest in my life....

Thanks for the sneak peek, the video gives one a feeling of being there. Interesting displays from the Alter booth, and the Shuraki Needa looks fantastic!

Yes, a great video walkaround! Best not get in the way of the otaku stampede at the start though! Be nicer if a commentary of some sort was dubbed on it though...

Nice video. I really need to visit something like this too someday :)

Video also got stuck at 9 seconds from the end. I could still seek to after that, and then it would play the end.

Watched the M4V footage. High quality footages. Though it too a long long time to load up after downloading it :o

It looked very hot out there just like when I went to Hong Kong :D

Shame that the Comic Festival held in Hong Kong was not showing that much haha. Cheers Danny!!

OK, not to get off topic, but did you use the new version of iMovie for that video? If so how do you like it? Is it actually easier to use?

Nice video. Hope you make more of this next time. ^^

Those Shuraki sets really caught my attention. They look nice in the pictures but they even look nicer live. lol. Would definitely want to get my hands on them. ^^

Hi danny nice coverage of the event would be nice if there were some subtitles of what you were shooting like footnotes of say the company or product.

I can't wait till I take a trip to Japan and go to a Wonder Fest. Things are still rather lacking in America when it comes to events like this. The best we got is Comic Con.
