I and a few dannychoo.com readers will be meeting up with Max and a load of other folk in the figure and anime industry tomorrow night at the Good Smile offices. There will also be a few Seiyu voice actors and actresses from many popular anime series.
You may remember me mentioning in this post that the first three Good Smile fans to contact me get to come along. Angelo from OtakuKun + 2 friends and Frankie from GamersWeb + 1 friend were the first to contact me and get to come along to network with these celebs.
On the day of the Wonfes (tomorrow) Good Smile are to broadcast a live internet show from 10PM JST. Click here to find out what time that will be in your time zone. Max Watanabe is going to be the announcer.
I cant speak too much about why I have been invited but you may want to watch in particular from 11.50PM JST ^^;
The broadcast URL is located here - the big red button under the laptop will be activated tomorrow night. The show will be entirely in Japanese. They do expect a lot of traffic so if the stream drops the first time then try again later.
BTW, the image is of Good Smiles booth from a previous event.
The reminder of 2007 is going to be great. Life is good!

Im pretty sure the news will be the new PG model, though i want it to be the Mirei nendoroid! Guess ill have to wait and see. Is the 'big' news still on schedule to be revealed on the 14th, or is this it?

I would chuckle if the next PG is Turn-A Gundam, although not likely. A cast off mirai figure would be nice. Have fun guys.

Now it is Max Factory's turn! Wow. Whatever what will be announced is bound to be good, so... Have fun! A Mirai-Chan figure would surprise me the most. I'll be looking forward to the results. (If it's not a joke *laughs*)

Wow this is pretty exciting congrats Danny and to all of you who get to tag along! Please let it be a new PG cuz once I'm done with my GP-01 I will be crying. But if it's a Mirai figure announcement that would be excellent too. I'd preorder in a heartbeat. Congrats again on your success!

Sounds like lots of great things are in the near future! I'm so excited, the suspense is killing me! I hope we will see a Mirai figure...hope hope hope... Will try to watch, but I need to be off to the airport around 10:30 am. I wish I could be there as well.

congrats to Angelo and Frankie for grabbing a rare chance to join Danny at the Good Smile announcement at Wonder Fest and get to meet some celebs ^^ i'm guessing Good Smile will announce a Mirai cast-off figure (swimwear or school uniform) or maybe a Mirai nendriod but whatever it is it'll be good and i can't wait for that announcement :3 one of these days, i would soon join you guys at an event ^^
