I have always wanted a Stormtrooper outfit and now that we have a bit of spare change kicking around, I was able to order one without er in doors giving me a clubbing around the head with a wet dog.
The majority of stormtrooper armor owners make their own suits from the Armor FX kit which one can pick up for about 500 USD. But after looking at the tutorials on the net, making the outfit was going to be a bit more time consuming than making a Gundam so I decided that I would rather pay somebody to put together the suit for me.

Costume Junkie who make a ton of other suits too - they have a Vader suit knocking around at 3000 big ones.
Never the less, the armor will probably still need alterations which I would probably have fun doing like adding wings, horns, a tail and maybe a cocktail mixer. So a search for stormtrooper armor for more info on this crazy hobby. But before you do that, go to
bobafettmp.com to have a look and the ton of other folks doning the coolest armor you have seen. My armor will be ready in about four weeks-ish - watch this space for those geeky pics. I actually plan to walk around Tokyo wearing it ;-)
